THE PRESIDENT ATTENDS FUNERAL OF YASSER ARAFAT, PRESIDENT OF PALESTINE

The President of Malta, H.E. Dr. Edward Fenech Adami left Malta this morning to attend the funeral of Yasser Arafat, President of Palestine which will be held today in Cairo.

President Fenech Adami will be accompanied by the Hon. Michael Frendo, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His Excellency Dr. Fenech Adami will be returning to Malta this afternoon.

Yesterday, a message of condolences  following the death of the Palestine leader was sent by the President of Malta.
