THE PRESIDENT IS PRESENTED WITH CREDENTIALS BY THE AMBASSADOR OF THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC, THE AMBASSADOR OF LEBANON AND THE HIGH COMMISSIONER OF ZAMBIA
His Excellency Dr. Edward Fenech Adami, The President of Malta, was presented with the letters of credence by H.E. Mrs Dorothea Tsimboukeli Douvos, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic, and H.E. Mr Melhem Nasri Mistou, Ambassador of Lebanon and with letters of commission by H.E. Mr Anderson Kaseba Chibwa, High Commissioner of Zambia.
The ceremony took place in the Ambassadors’ Room at The Palace, Valletta. This afternoon, the President and Mrs. Fenech Adami will host the newly accredited Ambassadors and the High Commissioner to an official luncheon at San Anton Palace.
The curriculum vitae of H.E. Mrs Dorothea Tsimboukeli Douvos, H.E. Mr Anderson Kaseba Chibwa and H.E. Mr Melhem Nasri Mistou follow.
H.E. Mrs Dorothea Tsimboukeli Douvos was born in 1951 in Athens, Greece.

The President presented with Letter of Credence by Greek Ambassador
She studied French and Greek Literature at the University of Athens in 1973. Her diplomatic career started in 1979 as Attaché in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She held various high-ranking positions including those of first and second secretary in various embassies. In 1996 she was promoted to Consul General at the Consul General in Constanza, Romania. In year 2001 she held the position of Director of Studies to the Diplomatic Academy of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ambassador speaks Greek, English, French and Romanian. She is widowed and is also a mother of two daughters.

H.E. Mr Anderson Kaseba Chibwa was born in March, 1950.
In the year 1974, the High Commissioner graduated with a B.A. Education in Major Geography at the University of Zambia in Lusaka. He continued his studies in the USA and obtained an M.A. in Major Population Geography, Minor Statistics at the University of Miami in Florida.

During the period 1974-1982 he served as Senior Scientific Officer at the National Council for Scientific Research in Lusaka. In 1983 he worked as Senior Researcher and Lecturer at the Pan African Institute of Development. He worked also as Project Manger at the Care International and in 2003 was appointed as High Commissioner at the Zambia High Commission in London.
The High Commissioner is also the author of various publications. He is married and has six children.

H.E. Mr Melhem Nasri Mistou, was born in Beirut in February 1947. He graduated in Law and also in Political Science at the University of St. Jospeh in Beirut.

President Fenech Adami presented with Credentials by the Ambassador of Lebanon
The Ambassador held various high ranking positions in the diplomatic corp. He worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also in various Embassies. He served as Ambassador of Lebanon at Berlin, Sofia and Rome.
The Ambassador speaks Arab, French, English, Russian, German and Italian. He is married and has three children.
