THE PRESIDENT IS PRESENTED WITH CREDENTIALS BY THE AMBASSADOR FOR INDONESIA AND HIGH COMMISSIONERS FOR ZAMBIA AND KENYA
The President of Malta, H.E. Dr. Edward Fenech Adami, was presented with the letters of Credence by H.E. Mr. Susanto Sutoyo, Ambassador for Indonesia, by H.E. Ms Lucy M. Mungoma, High Commissioner for Zambia and by H.E. Ms. Anne Belinda Nyikoli, High Commissioner for Kenya.
The ceremony took place in the Ambassadors’ Room at the Palace, Valletta.
This afternoon, the President and Mrs. Fenech Adami will host the newly accredited Ambassadors to an official luncheon at the Verdala Palace.
The curriculum vitae of H.E. Mr. Sustanto Sutoyo, H.E. Ms. Lucy M. Mungoma and H.E. Ms. Anne Belinda Nyikoli follow.

H.E. Mr. Susanto Sutoyo, was born in July 1947 at Kendal in Indonesia.
Mr. Sutoyo studied at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, Semarang in 1974.
His diplomatic career started in 1979 when he served as third secretary (cultural-information) at the Indonesian Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In 1986 he was part of the Indonesian Permanent Mission of the UN and other International Organizations in Geneva. In 1995 he was Chairman of the UN-Commission on Social Development, 34th session, New York, 1995. During the period 1999 – 2001 he served as Ambassador/Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indonesian Permanent Mission of the UN and other international Orgniastions, Geneva. In June 2001 he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa and (designate Ambassador) Tonga.

He is now serving as Director General for Multilateral Affairs on Development, Economic and Finance, Governor for Indonesia o Common Fund for Commodity and also Commissioner for Indonesia to the Group of Developing Eight (D-8) countries.
The Ambassador is married with three Children.

H.E. Ms. Lucy M. Mungoma was born in November, 1957.
The High Commissioner obtained Bachelors (Honours) in Politics and Government from the City University in London, England in 1983 and a Masters in International Relations from the University of Kent at Canterbury, England in 1984.
It is understood that H.E. Mungoma possesses additional qualifications. In particular, she obtained a graduate certificate in Diplomatic Studies and International Relations from the University of Oxford in England in 1995, as well as a certificate for the United Nations programme of Fellowship on Disarmament from Geneva and New York in 1996.

The High Commissioner has had a wide ranging career with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Zambia where she has been employed since graduation in 1984. During her career with the Foreign Ministry of Zambia she had exposure to Asian, as well as African and Middle Eastern Affairs. Her most recent positions within the Zambian Foreign Ministry appear to have been particularly: between Feb 2002 and Feb 2003 she was Deputy Permanent Secretary in Charge of Africa. Middle East and the Pacific, and from March 2003 to November 2004 she occupied the position of Director (Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Political Affairs Department). Her most recent appointment she was elevated to the position of Ambassador Extra-ordinary to Italy and Representative to F.A.O., I.F.A.D. and W. F. P (the world food programme).

H.E. Ms. Anne Belinda Nyikoli, was born in February 1957.
She studied at the University of Nairobi from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Political Science in 1979 and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations (Diplomacy) in 1990. She then furthered her studies in 1983 and obtained a Diploma in French Language from the Institute of Languages Catholic University, Paris in France.

The High Commissioner has excellent Bilateral and Multilateral Negotiations Skills. She participated in several professional courses and workshops as resource person and facilitator and also attended international conferences.
Since January 2004 she has been serving as Head of the Americas Division, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nairobi.
The High Commissioner is married.
