OPR - Friday, 1st June, 2007

The President and Mrs Fenech Adami accompanied by the Prime Minister and Mrs. Gonzi, the Hon Speaker and Mrs. Tabone and The Hon Leader of the Opposition, Dr Alfred Sant will be leaving Malta on Saturday 2^nd June to attend the canonisation of Blessed Dun Ġorġ Preca at The Vatican. 

Ambassador to the Holy See, Tonio Ganado and Mrs Ganado will also be part of the official delegation.

The President and Mrs. Fenech Adami will be returning to Malta on Monday afternoon.

In the absence of the President, Dr. George Hyzler will assume office as Acting President.

The Hon. Francis Zammit Dimech will be Acting Prime Minister.
