The President of Malta, Dr. Eddie Fenech Adami leaves Malta tomorrow Wednesday, 30th July, for an Official Visit to the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahariya on the invitation of Col. Muammar Al Gaddafi, Leader of the First September Revolution of the Libyan Arab Jamahariya.

The President will hold official talks with Col. Gaddafi and will meet Dr Baghadadi Al Mahmoudi, Secretary of the General People’s Congress.

Accompanying The President are Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Tonio Borg and the Minister for Social Policy, the Hon. John Dalli.

The President and his delegation will return to Malta on Thursday, 31st July 2008.

Dr George Hyzler will be the Acting President.
