Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, attended the celebration of Kuwait’s National Day, organised by the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Malta.

 

In her speech, the President of Malta highlighted the friendship between the two countries, reflected in the considerable increase in trade between Malta and Kuwait in recent years, and the collaboration in the areas of education, culture, environmental management, environment, financial services, and cyber security.

 

The President also expressed Malta’s commitment to further strengthen collaboration with Kuwait, as reflected in Malta’s Regional Framework Policy for the Gulf Region, launched last December, and which is based on the pillars of regional and bilateral relations, trade relations, social affairs, multilateral affairs and climate and energy.
