On Tuesday evening, a concert by violinist Stefan Calleja and pianist Stephanie Quintano was held at San Anton Palace.

 

The ceremony, part of a series of activities in the process of the cause of beatification of the couple Henry and Inez Casolani, was organized by the Henry and Inez Casolani Association, under the patronage of the President of Malta.

 

In her speech, the President spoke about the legacy of the Casolani couple, who left a mark of spiritual good, of love for their neighbor and of Christian witness and referred to the cause for their Beatification as a testimony to how the good a person does lives on in the hearts and minds of the community.

 

The President also highlighted the fact that Henry and Inez lived through difficult times, including the period of the Second World War, but never lost their inner peace and trust, and lived a life built on prayer, mutual respect and a strong sense of service to those in need.

 

During the ceremony, the organisers also presented a donation in aid of The Malta Community Chest Fund.
