The Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See, His Excellency Mons. Wojciech Załuski, presented his letters of credence to H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, at the Presidential Palace, Valletta.
During her meeting with the Apostolic Nuncio, who also assumed the role of Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Malta, Her Excellency congratulated him and expressed her wish for further close work with the Holy See.
For his part, the Apostolic Nuncio stressed that the Holy See attaches great importance to its relationship with Malta and is committed to continuing to strengthen these relations.
