The publication Sixty Years of Service – The Maltese Association of the Order of Malta 1965-2025, written and researched by Dr Noel Buttigieg Scicluna, was launched at San Anton Palace.

 

In her speech, Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, spoke about the relationship between Malta and the Order, the relationship between Malta and the Order, the establishment of the Order’s Maltese Association in the first 20 years after Malta’s Independence, as well as the Association’s contribution to humanitarian initiatives, including blood donation and the distribution of humanitarian aid.

 

Among other distinguished guests, the launch was held in the presence of Fra’ Emmanuel Rousseau, Grand Commander of the Order of Malta.
