The High Commissioner of the Republic of India, Her Excellency Rachita Bhandari, presented her Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, at the Presidential Palace in Valletta.

During this meeting, President Spiteri Debono noted the ever-growing relationship between the two countries, including the recent commencement of exports of Maltese food and beverages from Malta to India. Reference was also made to the presence of substantial investment in Malta by Indian entrepreneurs.

During the discussion, both sides also agreed that they are ready to explore further areas of cooperation between them in the coming period.
