Preparations are well underway for this year’s edition of the Ball of the August Moon; the third edition under the Presidency of Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono.

While visiting Verdala Castle, where this historic Ball will be held tomorrow in aid of The Malta Community Chest Fund, the President of Malta followed the latest developments and met with staff from the Office of the President of Malta and private entities who are working relentlessly for this unique event.

In comments to the media, the President acknowledged the recognition that last week’s donation, which led to the large number of tickets being purchased in the competition for this year’s edition, so much so that all available tickets were sold out two weeks ago.
