The President of Malta, Myriam Spiteri Debono, exchanged traditional Christmas greetings with Prime Minister Robert Abela, who was accompanied by his wife, Dr Lydia Abela, and their daughter, Giorgia Mae, with the Archbishop of Malta, Charles J Scicluna, and Opposition Leader Alex Borg, and Sarah Bajada, at the Presidential Palace in Valletta

She also exchanged greetings with members of the Cabinet, the Cabinet Secretary, Ryan Spagnol, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anġlu Farrugia and Members of Parliament, as well as Chief Justice Mark Chetcuti and members of the Judiciary.
