H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, received Auditor General Charles Deguara for a courtesy call.

 

During the meeting, the Auditor General presented the President with a copy of the National Audit Office’s (NAO) Annual and Financial Report for 2025.

 

He noted that during the year, recommendations were implemented or significant progress was registered in 63% of the audit processes initiated across various government and parastatal entities.

 

Mr Deguara thanked the President for her visit to the NAO offices last year, as well as for her support and confidence in the work of the institution.
