This year’s edition of Rockestra in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund will be held on Saturday 26th September, and will commemorate the memory of Maestro Aurelio Belli, who gave his all for the organisation of Rockestra.

That is also the reason why ‘What a Wonderful World’ was chosen as this year’s theme, which is also the title of Maestro Belli’s favourite song. Aurelio Belli’s family will also be an integral part of this year’s edition, and his wife Gloriana Arpa Belli will be one of the main artists.

 

During the press conference, Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta described this year’s edition as an emotional one.

 

“We will miss Maestro Belli’s smile and the courage he gave us, but we have a team working on a very beautiful show that will pay tribute to his memory,” explained the President of Malta.
