The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, H.E. Tord Tukun, presented his letters of credence to H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, at the Presidential Palace in Valletta.

During their meeting, both sides discussed the strong relationship based on shared values, particularly democracy, the rule of law and multilateral cooperation. Opportunities to strengthen collaboration in areas such as tourism, connectivity and maritime affairs were also discussed.

For her part, Her Excellency acknowledged the financial support of the EEA and Norway Grants, through which Norway has supported cultural and social initiatives including in the areas of youth, health and inclusion.
