The Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador, H.E. Jorge Edmundo Uribe Pérez, presented his letters of credence to H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, the President of Malta, at the Presidential Palace, Valletta.

 

During the meeting with Her Excellency, the Ambassador stated that relations between the two countries are at their infancy but have great potential for concrete collaboration in various areas.

 

For her part, the President, while thanking the Ambassador for the close collaboration between the two countries that emerged in the United Nations Security Council between 2023 and 2024, urged the initiation of discussions for further bilateral collaboration in the areas of connectivity, education and pharmaceuticals.
