On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March, Verdala Castle will be donning a traditional look associated with Lent and Holy Week, with a varied programme for the new event ‘Kwareżima – Arti, Kult u Tradizzjoni.’

The event in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund will offer a variety of activities for the whole family, from children to adults, with events ranging from exhibitions to music and concerts by choirs, bands and musicians, as well as discussions led by writers and Holy Week experts.

‘Kwareżima – Arti, Kult u Tradizzjoni’ was launched at Verdala Castle, during a press conference held on Thursday evening, during which Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, explained that the purpose of this activity is the appreciation of Maltese traditions, while at the same time collecting donations in aid of the work of the Malta Community Chest Fund.
