H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, visited the Central Bank of Malta, where she met with officials and staff who explained to her the crucial work of the Bank, as regulator of the financial services sector in Malta, in ensuring financial stability and supporting sustainable economic growth.

Addressing the Central Bank staff, the President expressed the Presidency’s gratitude for their commitment to economic stability and strengthening confidence in financial institutions, while acknowledging the work to achieve prosperity in the country based on responsible administration, digital progress and robust governance.

During the visit, the President also received a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund, collected by the officers and staff of the Central Bank.
