H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, visited the photographic exhibition Women – Grace Above Battle curated by international photographer Reza Deghati in collaboration with Maltese artists Angie Conti, Charles Mifsud, Darrin Zammit Lupi, Lorella Castillo and Joseph P. Smith.

 

The exhibition, which is being held at Tritoni Square and is part of the MaltaBiennale’26, focuses on visual images through photography, which record the various emotions of women from around the world whose lives have been touched by situations of pain and suffering.

 

While visiting this exhibition, the President described photography as the most authentic visual art that documents humanity and people’s emotions. Her Excellency recognised the work of photographers, including those part of this exhibition, who are bringing out the resilience of the women they photographed.
