On Saturday evening, at Verdala Castle, the Redemptio Sanguinis Musical Concert was performed by the Banda Żejtun Għaqda Santa Katarina V.M. AD 1933 under the direction of Maestro Leslie Debattista and Maestro Omar Coleiro.

 

This concert, which was attended by Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, brought to an end the second day of activities related to Kwareżima – Arti, Kult u Tradizzjoni.

 

This activity in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund continues on Sunday, where the public can visit Verdala Castle and attend concerts, processions and discussions, as well as view various exhibitions that include historical artifacts, some of which have never been shown in public.

 

The exhibitions include private collections of art, saints, crucifixes and crosses as well as statues, vestments and other items related to Holy Week.
