H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, received a courtesy call from Maria Elena Despott, Head of the European Commission Representation in Malta.
During the meeting, Despott spoke about the work of the Representative Office which focuses its work on greater connectivity and cohesion between all Member States, including Malta as an island.
She said that, through joint work with other countries, Malta is actively putting on the political agenda more equitable and long-lasting practices so that the European Union is more united in this period of international challenges.
