H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, presented the letters of credence to the new non-resident High Commissioner of Malta to the Republic of Seychelles, H.E. Omar Seguna.
The High Commissioner outlined his priorities to further strengthen relations between Malta and Seychelles, including in the areas of sustainable tourism and education. During the meeting, emphasis was also placed on the importance of collaboration within international fora, including the Commonwealth, as a means for the two countries to continue strengthening relations and promoting their common interests.
At the end of the meeting, the President wished the High Commissioner every success in his diplomatic work.
