H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, the President of Malta, attended the National Day celebration of the Republic of France.

In a speech on the occasion, the President highlighted the historic friendship between Malta and France, the respect between the two countries and the cooperation in various sectors, including trade and tourism.

The President also spoke about the shared vision of Malta and France in favour of global peace and prosperity, and collaboration in international institutions, including the United Nations, and also during Malta’s Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
