H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, attended the celebration of Greece’s National Day, organised by the Embassy of Greece in Malta.

 

In her speech, the President referred to sixty years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, during which a bilateral relationship based on trust, respect and shared values ​​was built.

 

Among others, the President referred to the collaboration between Malta and Greece in various sectors, including the areas of taxation, search and rescue, air services and aviation, tourism, health, culture, education, science and technology, and agriculture.

 

Against this backdrop, Her Excellency expressed Malta’s optimism to continue strengthening the relationship with Greece, building on the achievements that have resulted from the friendship and collaboration between the two countries.
