On Saturday evening, H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, the President of Malta, attended the Public Service Awards ceremony held at Fort St. Elmo.

 

In her speech, the President described the Public Service as a living and active organization, which must continue to be renewed through synergy between employees and the public. While reminding the employees of their duty to maintain the good reputation of the Public Service, and serve for the good of the public, the President expressed the Presidency’s appreciation for their collective work.

 

During the evening, the President gave recognition to several employees who distinguished themselves in their work as part of the Public Service.
