Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, laid flowers at the Freedom Monument in Vittoriosa, as part of the national Freedom Day celebrations organised by Festivals Malta.
Upon her arrival, the President was welcomed by the Armed Forces of Malta Band together with the Guard of Honour, and received the national salute. The ceremony concluded with the Maltese national anthem.
