H.E. President Myriam Spiteri Debono attended the graduation ceremony of a group of people who completed the Sedqa rehabilitation programme to overcome drug addiction.

 

Referring to this year’s theme, Breaking the Chains, the President not only acknowledged the effort and commitment of these people, but also praised them for their stamina and courage so that they can now return to society as whole human beings who can not only help themselves but also others.

In her speech, the President also praised the work and dedication of Sedqa professionals, and other Government entities and non-governmental organisations working in this sector.
