On Friday evening, H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, the President of Malta, attended a cultural evening organised by the High Commission of India in Malta to commemorate 60 years of diplomatic relations between Malta and India.

 

During the evening, Maltese and Indian folk groups entertained the audience, celebrating the rich culture and arts of the two countries.

 

Describing such activities as a means of strengthening cultural diplomacy through music, which brings people closer together, the President also highlighted the bonds between Malta and India, based on mutual respect, solidarity and common work for the benefit of the respective peoples.
