During the inauguration of Hospice Malta’s new complex, H.E. President Myriam Spiteri Debono recognized the excellent contribution that Hospice Malta offers in the field of palliative care.

President Spiteri Debono referred to this project as a concrete proof of synergy and unity between everyone – a project that is the result of collective work between the Government, the Curia, Hospice Malta and the people.

In her speech, the President also remarked the importance of widespread information on what palliative care is, as this knowledge is necessary for discussions on ethical-medical-legal subjects to be deeply sifted and seriously considered.

The President expressed her wish that this new complex would be instrumental in expanding the services offered by Hospice Malta to more patients and their families.
