During an evening organised by RISe Foundation Malta at San Anton Palace, H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, the President of Malta, distributed certificates of recognition to former prisoners who successfully completed the Foundation’s rehabilitation programme.

In a speech during the evening held under her patronage, the President recognised RISe’s work to ensure that persons who have served their time re-enter society as full members of society, contributing to their own well-being, that of their families and the common good.

The President also praised the courage and commitment of these persons who had the courage to leave the past behind them to begin a new and continuous journey that will determine their future.

The evening was attended, among others, by Minister Jonathan Attard, Parliamentary Secretary Rebecca Buttigieg and Opposition Shadow Minister David Agius.
