H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, granted her patronage to the launch of the Journal of Financial Supervisors Academy, which will serve as an economic platform for discussion on research in the field of financial regulation.
The President said that this journal will serve to bridge the gap between theory and practice by presenting contributions of the highest level from experts in the financial sector from all over Europe. Based on research and study, these contributions will continue to broaden the theory and practice when it comes to innovation in this sector.
The meeting was attended by the Board of Governors of the Malta Financial Services Authority, as well as academics and financial experts, most of them foreign, who contributed studies to this first edition of the Journal of Financial Supervisors Academy.
