H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, the President of Malta, met with patients being hosted at the Puttinu Cares apartments in Sutton, while also receiving support from the Malta Community Chest Fund, during their treatment period in the United Kingdom.

 

Together with them, the President joined them for mass celebrated by the friars of the Order of the Conventual Franciscans, who are a beacon of comfort to the Maltese during this difficult period abroad.

 

At the end of her visit, the President distributed gifts to the children present, as well as traditional Maltese sweets prepared by the kitchen staff at the Presidential Palace.
