H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta, hosted members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Malta at the Presidential Palace in Valletta, for the traditional New Year’s greetings.

 

In her speech, the President thanked the Ambassadors, High Commissioners and other members of the Diplomatic Corps for their work during the past year, and highlighted Malta’s commitment to continue strengthening and improving existing ties for the mutual benefit of the respective countries and their citizens.

 

The President stressed the importance of dialogue with all countries, in light of the international situation, as well as to explore new avenues of cooperation in various sectors.
